5/16/2023 PRESS RELEASE: Motor Vehicle Emissions Reduction Grant Program
On April 19, 2023 the Monterey Bay Air Resources District Board (MBARD) re-authorized the AB2766 Motor Vehicle Emissions Reduction Grant Program, which is comprised of three components; the Clean Air Management Program provides grant funding for transportation infrastructure projects such as roundabouts and adaptive traffic signal control systems, the Clean Vehicle Program (CVP) includes light-duty electric vehicle (EV) and medium to heavy-duty EV replacement incentives for public agencies, and the Electric Vehicle Incentive Program (EVIP) incentivizes residents of Santa Cruz, Monterey, and San Benito Counties to purchase electric vehicles and electric bicycles. .........
