30-Day Public Notice - Preliminary Decision to Approve the Issuance of Authority to Construct to Kendall Jackson Family Wines

Pursuant to District Rule 207, Section 6.9, the Monterey Bay Air Resources District (MBARD) solicits written comments to the preliminary decision to approve the issuance of Authority to Construct (ATC) MOD-22-00089 to Kendall Jackson Wine Estates, LTD dba Jackson Family Wines (Jackson Family Wines) for the modification of their current two-stage natural gas boiler, which operates under permit to operate (PTO) 15750. The two-stage natural gas boiler is located at 3700 Doud Rd in Soledad. The modification is to replace the current Camus DynaFlame two-stage boiler with a total heat input rating of 5.0 million British thermal units per hour (MMBtu/hr) with a new RBI Futera two-stage boiler with a total heat input rating of 5.0 MMBtu/hr.

The public has an opportunity to review and comment on the proposed Project. Under special circumstances, MBARD may hold a public hearing. Written comments must be submitted to the address below and be postmarked by Friday, January 20, 2023 or can be submitted via email to Armando Jimenez at ajimenez@mbard.org.
