9/21/21 PRESS RELEASE: Rule Development Workshop Rule 438 - Open Outdoor Fires
The Monterey Bay Air Resources District (MBARD) will hold an informational workshop on Friday September 24, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. to gather public comment on proposed revisions to Rule 438, Open Outdoor Fires. The proposed revisions include minor organizational changes to the rule to clarify rule requirements and to add a prohibition on burning driftwood. The workshop will be in a hybrid meeting format, held live at the MBARD office at 24580, Silver Cloud Ct., Monterey and online.
